    Pink Peonies

    08/11/2019 · by Tricia

Just wanted to share a few photos and say hello! It seems like I never get around to posting any of my pictures because by the time I edit them, the moment or the season, is long gone, and then it seems like it’s old news or some such thing. Today though, I’m throwing caution to the wind and sharing some pink peonies. They’re just too pretty to have to wait until they bloom again next spring. I believe this variety is Sarah Bernhardt.

While I had an abundance of blooms this year, I’m also blessed to have a neighbor who isn’t really into flowers, so she always lets me take some of hers too. No such thing as too many peonies, right?!

Well, lovely people, that’s all for today.  Until next time…

P.S. If you want to see a few more photos of peonies, check out the posts Freshening Up and Summer Fun and Bloom.

It always takes me forever to find something I like. 😊 Totally separate subject, but I’ve been busy the last few weeks going through all my photos, doing some deleting and editing. So far I’ve gotten rid of almost 16,000 pictures. 😳 I also shared a few I’ve edited in my stories!

It was one of those times where I wished that my eyes could magically take photos instead of my camera, because I couldn’t really seem to capture how beautiful it was.

Anyway, nothing too exciting to report over here. I’m currently caulking the woodwork In our basement so that we can paint it all like our upstairs. I’m pretty excited about that! I love change. 😊

There’s always next year, right?! Hope you all have a happy weekend!

If you’re wondering what flowers are in this bouquet, I did a blog post and listed them there. 💗

If I had a list of favorite flowers, peonies would probably be right at the top...followed closely by lilacs and hydrangeas. 😊 Do you have a favorite?
Wishing you all a beautiful and blessed Easter! 💜

As a side note, the other day, I had a basil plant sitting on the counter and my husband asked me what this plant was that smelled like cat pee. Well, that scent was something I had never noticed before, but, of course, now it’s all I can smell when I’m near it!🍃Sooo, what are you having for dinner? 😬
