    Pink Peonies

Just wanted to share a few photos and say hello! It seems like I never get around to posting any of my pictures because by the time I edit them, the moment or the season, is long gone, and then it seems like it’s old news or some such thing. Today though, I’m throwing caution to the wind and sharing some pink peonies. They’re just too pretty to have to wait until they bloom again next spring. I believe this variety is Sarah Bernhardt.

While I had an abundance of blooms this year, I’m also blessed to have a neighbor who isn’t really into flowers, so she always lets me take some of hers too. No such thing as too many peonies, right?!

Well, lovely people, that’s all for today.  Until next time…

P.S. If you want to see a few more photos of peonies, check out the posts Freshening Up and Summer Fun and Bloom.

It’s kind of like a special holiday or something that i look forward to…the start of a season. I don’t really see that happening on schedule this year since even though the calendar says spring, it sure doesn’t feel like it!
